National Organizing Call w/ Special Guest Congressional Candidate Kojo Asamoa-Caesar

July 30, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join our call to learn about efforts to get Ghanaian Americans registered to vote and support candidates in the upcoming U.S. Election.

About this Event

Ghana Diaspora Public Affairs Collective (GHPAC) will host a National Organizing Call on Thursday, July 30th at 6:00 PM EST to mobilize Ghanaians in the United States to register to vote, find out about Ghanaian candidates running for office and learn about important voting deadlines and resources!

Special guest Democratic Nominee for U.S. Congress OK-01 will join to discuss his campaign and how we can support in Oklahoma and elsewhere!

The upcoming election in November is a critical one for Ghanaians living in the United States as it could be the turning point for a number of issues especially immigration reform, protecting essential workers and small business owners, restoring racial and social justice, and advancing U.S.-Africa relations.

Importantly, Ghanaian Americans reside in key battleground and swing states such as Ohio, Virginia, Texas, Pennsylvania, etc.  Ghanaian Americans are also running for political office from the local, state and federal level. We have the opportunity to be key voters in the November general election.

Ghana Diaspora Public Affairs Collective (GHPAC) is a proud official partner of When We All Vote a national voter registration effort launched in 2018 by co-chairs Michelle Obama, Tom Hanks, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Janelle Monae, Chris Paul, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw.
